SHIPPING RATES AND SERVICES

Delivery dates may be impacted by volume and or extreme weather conditions. In an effort to ensure that your order arrives on time, we reserve the right to ship your order early.

Our shipping costs are based on the fees charged by FedEx/UPS, as well as the cost of packaging, dry ice, and the extra weight dry ice adds to the shipment.

Standard Delivery: All orders are shipped to arrive within 5 business days* from the selected ship date. Your cost per address is determined by the merchandise value.

*In some cases, shelf stable items shipped with standard delivery may be longer in transit. Please contact Customer Service for further details.

Expedited Delivery: Add $8.95 per address to our Standard Shipping charges.

  • Before 11am EST Monday – Wednesday: Orders will arrive by 8pm on the second or third day
  • After 10am EST Wednesday: Orders will ship the following Monday to arrive Wednesday or Thursday

Overnight Delivery: Add $24.95 per address to our Standard Shipping charges.

  • Before 11am EST Monday - Thursday: Orders will arrive by 8pm EST the following day

Saturday Delivery: Add $29.95 per address to our Standard Shipping charges.

  • Must be placed before Friday at 11am EST
Please note that Saturday Delivery is not available to all locations

Delivery Outside the Continental United States: We are currently unable to accept orders shipping to Hawaii due to shipping delays.

Picking Up Orders: We do not offer pick-up services or have a pick-up location. Orders are conveniently packed and shipped directly to your residence.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Products ordered together may be shipped separately
  • We are unable to guarantee time of day for delivery
  • We do not require a signature for release
  • We cannot ship to P.O. boxes, APOs or FPOs
  • We do not ship to Alaska.

Shipping Delays: We are not responsible for shipping delays due to inclement weather, including 2-day and overnight.

When Your Order Arrives:

1. Check your shipment for Dry Ice: Dry ice evaporates during shipping. If there is none left and your order is cold, everything is okay. If there is any dry ice remaining, handle it carefully with gloves and let it dissipate outdoors.
Warning: Some products are shipped on dry ice and that extreme cold, as well as moisture, from the packaging and/or the product, can cause damage to furnishings and surfaces for which we have no liability.

2. Confirm your order is correct: Check your order number and the item list on the shipping label – make sure all the boxes in your package match the order. If there is an issue with your delivery, please call Customer Service at 1-800-282-2722 between 8am and 4pm EST within 24 hours of receipt. Please do not dispose of any items, even perishable ones until you have spoken with Customer Service.
To meet your requested delivery schedule, it may be necessary to substitute an item of equal or greater value.

3. Transfer to freezer: Most items should be stored in your freezer below 32°F until you are ready to prepare them. Please read instructions on each box, as some items should not be kept frozen.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Resolution of reported issues may include replacement of the product, credit towards your next order, or a partial/full refund. If we require a shipment to be picked up and returned to our office, the customer must make the product available in good condition and in the original container or the refund will not be honored. We cannot accept returns of perishable food.
The following reasons are not covered under our refund policy:

  • Orders that are refused when the delivery attempts are made
  • Orders that are redirected by customer
  • Orders with incomplete or invalid addresses
  • Orders that are sent to recipients not available to accept packages in a timely manner on the day that it arrives
  • Inability to retrieve your order on the guaranteed delivery date, resulting in defrosted items or damage
  • Orders delivering to a PO Box that are not picked up on the day of delivery
  • Orders delivering to a carrier access point, as requested by the recipient, that are not picked up on the day of delivery
  • Impromptu Gourmet is not liable for deliveries that have been impeded, such as by gate codes, construction work, and or animals. Please note: these are just a few examples and there may be other circumstances that impact delivery that will result in an order not being refunded.
Shipping charges are not refundable.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Once an online order has been submitted, it cannot be altered or canceled for any reason. Please review your shipping address, gift recipient information, and selected ship date prior to placing an order.

In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your purchase, please call Customer Service at 1-877-632-5766 between the hours of 8am and 9pm EST to discuss how we can best resolve the issue. We do recommend that you enjoy our products within 90 days of receipt. Shipping charges are not refundable.
