Tempura Chicken

This is tempura chicken like you've never had before, featuring an impossibly crisp fried coating and juicy, tender white meat inside. Subtly flavored with ginger, garlic, and "seven spices", it's delicious on its own, but it's even better with the included red chili dipping sauce. Preparation: Conventional oven: Thaw one sauce packet under warm water and set aside. Preheat oven to 400°F. Remove frozen chicken from bag and place on a baking sheet. Bake for approximately 15-20 minutes. Empty sauce packet into sauce pan and heat on stove top or empty sauce packet into a microwave safe bowl and heat in microwave for 1 minute or until hot. Use for dipping.
Skillet: Thaw one sauce packet under warm water and set aside. Heat 1/4 cup of cooking oil in a non-stick skillet on medium-high heat. Remove frozen chicken from bag and place in skillet, cook for approximately 15-20 minutes. Turn chicken continuously to heat evenly until crispy and golden in color. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside. Place sauce in a skillet on medium-high heat for 1 minute. Use for dipping.
Alternative cooking method: For crispier chicken, remove chicken from bag and place frozen chicken in deep fryer at 350°F and cook for approximately 5-7 minutes. Follow sauce heating instructions as outfitted above.
