Pre-Cooked Turkey


Take the fuss out of cooking with these pre- cooked turkeys that are virtually foolproof. Choose from Herb Roasted Whole, delicately seasoned with sage, onion, garlic and lemon. Or try the Cajun Fried Whole or Breast both hand-rubbed with a blend of southern seasonings with a touch of heat, then fried to seal in the flavor. Juicy, moist and can be served cold or reheated. Pass the gravy!

Herb Roasted Whole Turkey: Pre-heat conventional oven to 330°F. Remove the thawed turkey and all the juices from the vacuum packaged bag and place it into an oven safe roasting pan. If you do not have a roasting pan, remove the Turkey from the vacuum packaged bag and place it into an oven safe pan that has at least 2" sides. Add 1 cup of water to the bottom of the pan. Cover the pan tightly with the proper lid or with aluminum foil and place it on the center track in the oven. Re heat for 1 hour, covered. Carefully baste the turkey every 15 minutes with the liquid in the pan. Keep the turkey covered for the entire hour of re-heating. Remove the turkey from the oven and allow to rest for 10 minutes, covered. Baste the turkey a few times during the resting period. Slice and serve.

Cajun Fried Whole Turkey: Thaw in refrigerator 48 hours prior to cooking. Preheat oven to 300°F. Place thawed turkey in baking pan and cover with foil. Cook 5 minutes per pound, approximately 1 hour.

Cajun Fried Turkey Breast: Please allow product to thaw under refrigeration overnight.
Remove all outer wrapping from the turkey. Cover turkey and place on a cooking pan or dish. Preheat oven to 350°F. Heat product for up to 1.5 hours or until the internal temperature of the coldest part of the turkey reaches 130°F.

If you are able, check the product after 1 hour for internal temperature. Oven temperatures vary so please adjust cook time accordingly.
